November 21-Stutz Holiday Show: Get a creative start on holiday shopping, with gift possibilities ranging from paintings, sculpture and wearable art to jewelry, cards and custom portraits. During this popular event , more than 30 artists display their work in a one room at the historic Stutz building. One-of-a-kind paintings on canvas will be available for $100 as a fundraiser for the Care for Kids Foundation. Artists Lois Main Templeton and Phil O’Malley will offer first-edition, signed copies of their new children’s book, Who Makes The Sun Rise?, that’s filled with Templeton’s stunning, original full-page paintings. Admission, light refreshments, music and good company are complimentary.

November 21-Miracle Ball: St. Mary’s Child Center will hosts its Annual Miracle Ball, “The Best is Yet to Come”, on Friday, November 21 at The Ritz Charles in Carmel. The evening will consist of dinner, dancing, a silent auction, and live entertainment. Reservations are $175 per person and tables of eight, ten, and twelve are available. Sponsorships are also available. The event begins at 6:30 pm and is black tie. Double Exposure will be performing.

November 22-Fall Concert: The Indianapolis Liederkranz will have their fall concert and dance on Saturday, November 22, 2008. The doors will open at 6:30 PM with the concert starting at 8:00 and the dance immediately following the concert. There will be German food served before and after the concert. Music for the dance will be provided by the Original Alpine Express. Admission to the concert and dance, which is open to the public, is $7.00 for non members and $3.00 for members. November 22-National Survivors of Suicide Day: Have you lost a loved one to suicide? National Survivors of Suicide Day is Saturday, November 22nd. There will be conferences for survivors of suicide loss in over 130 cities, including here in (City). You can also watch the program live online. November 22-United Way of Central Indiana’s 3rd annual Family Volunteer Day: Bring family quality time to a new level at United Way’s Family Volunteer Day Saturday, November 22! Family Volunteer Day provides an opportunity for families to spend time together at little or no cost while teaching family members the importance of giving. Register your family to complete projects for nonprofit organizations in Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Marion and Morgan counties either by choosing a project submitted by a local nonprofit or creating a project specific to your family. November 22-Real Food, Real Indiana Expo: The Real Food, Real Indiana Expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, at Minnetrista in Muncie, Ind. November 22-Homespun Holiday Craft Fair: Visit dozens of crafters' booths and take advantage of a blood drive and flu shots at the Homespun Holiday Craft Fair to benefit the Ben Davis High School Band. November 22-The Big GREEN Give: The Hendricks County Solid Waste Management District invites the public to our first-ever alternative gift-giving fair called The Big GREEN Give. Shoppers are encouraged to "give more and give less" this season to local charities and nonprofits that will be on-hand accepting gift donations to wonderful causes. The event will be held at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex at 1900 E. Main St. in Danville, IN on November 22, 2008 from 10am-5pm. This event is free to the public.

November 23-Delta Theta Tau Holiday Home Tour: Delta Theta Tau Sorority’s 26th Holiday Home Tour is Sunday, November 23rd from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. in Greencastle. The tour of six homes features the residence of DePauw University's President, Brian W. Casey. All homes are decorated for the Christmas holidays, refreshments are available, and all proceeds are used for scholarships and philanthropic donations in Putnam County. Admission is $8.00 per person and tickets are available at the Homes that day. Homeowners will showcase favorite holiday decorations, antiques, and collections, including Longaberger Christmas baskets, Boyd’s Bears, Waterford crystal, Disney, Coca Cola, House of Hatten Santas, and Woof Poof figurines.

November 23-Wintley Phipps in Concert for U.S. Dream Academy: Motivational speaker and Grammy-nominated singer Rev. November 28-Second Annual Christmas on the Square: The 2nd annual Christmas on the Square will be held at the Hendricks County Courthouse square in Downtown Danville from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday November 28th. During this traditional hometown Christmas celebration, the shops on the square will be open and hosting children’s activities. Beginning at 3:00 pm, guests will enjoy Christmas carols, festive performances by local organizations, games, giveaways, Christmas story readings and carriage rides. Santa and Mrs. Claus will light the Square to officially welcome the Christmas season at 6:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to follow their “sleigh” to the official opening of the Winterland light show in Ellis Park. November 29-Lyrical Expressions Matinee: The Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta presents the "Lyrical Expressions Matinee" to be held in the Madame Walker Theatre Ballroom located at 617 Indiana Avenue in Indianapolis, IN. The Matinee will feature Chicago spoken word performer Passion as well as live music. Tickets are $10 in advance and $20 at the door. Patrons will receive $5 off at the door by donating a book. We are open Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, and Saturdays 10am to 4pm. We are accepting new, unwrapped toys for donation. Now through December 18-Bird of Prey Chats: Come and enjoy this family friendly short talk about birds of prey in Indiana. Meet one of our live raptors that we use in educational programs. Chats are every Tuesday and Thursday from 4pm-4:25pm Sept. 2 through Dec. 18 (No chat on Nov. 4). All ages welcome! You're also invited to our "Learn Your Birds" event. To become a great birdwatcher you will need binoculars, a field guide, and 2 strong legs. We will bird every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 7:30am- 9am from Sept. 2nd through Nov. 6th leaving from the Eagle Creek Ornithology Center. There is $10 fee.
