MARLEE THOMAS

Marlee Thomas is an anchor at WRTV and a host of Life.Style.Live! She has been part of Circle City Broadcasting since 2024, when she joined Life.Style.Live! as a host and reporter.

A lifelong Hoosier, Marlee grew up on a small farm near Kokomo and has lived in Indiana her entire life. Her family and many of her closest friends are from the Kokomo and Russiaville area. In 2016, Marlee was crowned Miss Howard County.

Marlee graduated from Ball State University in 2020. After graduation, she began her television news career at WLFI in West Lafayette, where she worked as an anchor and reporter before eventually becoming a lead anchor.

While at WLFI, Marlee created a weekly segment focused on Indiana agriculture, highlighting the state’s livestock and farming industries and giving Hoosier farmers a platform to share their stories.

Marlee is active in the community and enjoys emceeing and participating in local events. In 2024, she was named to Greater Lafayette Commerce’s Top 10 Under 40 list in recognition of her impact on the community.

Purdue fans may also recognize Marlee from Mackey Arena. She has served as an in-game host for Purdue Men’s Basketball for more than five years, energizing the crowd, interacting with fans and conducting postgame interviews with players.

Outside of work, Marlee loves spending time with her family and friends, especially her young nephews. She recently got engaged and is looking forward to her wedding in October. She also enjoys riding her horse, Bella, and spending time with her cat, Bex, and Australian Shepherd, Dolly, who is named after Dolly Parton.

Marlee enjoys sharing stories that celebrate Hoosier life and communities across Central Indiana.
