1 shot, injured on Indy’s northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS — One person was shot on the northeast side of Indianapolis on Thursday evening.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 3300 block of Brouse Avenue on reports of a person shot just after 6:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot injury. The individual was reported to be in serious condition.
