Caitlin Clark named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for fourth time this season

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — For the fourth time this season, Fever guard Caitlin Clark has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. This is also the third time in the last four weeks that Clark has received the honor,

Clark scored 77 points over three games last week, the most points scored by any player in the WNBA in that timespan. She also led the WNBA in assists last week with 29.

Clark recorded two double-doubles in the week, scoring 22 points and dishing out 10 assists in the win over the New York Liberty and scoring 29 points with 10 assists in the Fever’s win against the Dallas Wings.

With Clark’s fourth player of the week honor this season, she joins Tamika Catchings as the only Fever players to win the award four times in a season. Catchings did so in 2012, the year the Fever won the WNBA Championship.

Clark and the Fever are back in action on Tuesday night on the road against the Toronto Tempo. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m.
