KAREN CAMPBELL

Karen Campbell is an anchor at WRTV with nearly 20 years of experience in broadcast journalism and several years of experience covering Central Indiana.

Karen began her journalism career in Pennsylvania, where she worked in print journalism and earned a Keystone Press Award. She later reported in Baltimore before making the move to Indianapolis television in 2019.

Throughout her career, Karen has covered a wide range of local and national stories, with a focus on providing viewers with accurate information and reporting that serves the communities she covers.

Karen is also active in the Central Indiana community. She serves with the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter and contributes to the Indianapolis Public Library’s African American History Committee, supporting education, advocacy and the preservation of local history.

After several years of living and working in the Indianapolis area, Karen is proud to call Central Indiana home.
