Another stretch of 90 degree days this week

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — Hot again with highs in the 90s this afternoon. Dry today but more rain chances move into the state Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures drop closer to normal for the middle of the week.

Comfortable humidity this morning but it will increase later this afternoon. Look for mostly sunny skies with summer temperatures surging this afternoon. High temperatures will be into the lower 90s across most of central Indiana. Feels like temperatures will be around 3 to 5 degrees warmer.

The Indianapolis Indians begin their last homestand this evening. Temperatures will be in the 80s for the first pitch. It will be mild and muggy overnight with lows in the lower 70s.

Hot and very humid for Wednesday. Temperatures climb into the lower 90s across most of the state. The heat index values will be into the triple digits. A level 1 out of a level 5 severe weather risk is in place.

Rain chances will be possible on Thursday. Temperatures will be a few degrees below normal. This weekend looks good with just an isolated rain chance on Saturday and highs in the middle 80s.
