Troy Washington is an Emmy-nominated journalist from El Campo, Texas. She started her television news career in Albany, Ga. as a producer in 2012. In less than a year she moved to a reporter role and ever since she's been committed to telling the stories that matter to communities.
Troy worked as a fill-in anchor and reporter in Shreveport, La. and Memphis, Tenn. before calling Indianapolis home.
She's a Prairie View A&M University graduate and former collegiate softball athlete.
Troy has a daughter named Riley. She's passionate about journalism and puts her all into trying to leave the world and the news industry better than she found it.
She is excited to be on the RTV6 team and thrilled to be working for you.
