Struggle University
We focus on social and emotional development, encourage the creation and strengthening of social capital, and support educational equity through mentoring and restorative practices.
Struggle University is our flagship program — a six-week curriculum that creates spaces to identify past and current trauma, explore individual and collective ways of healing, and build collective efficacy through rapport and connection.
Programs serve late-elementary through adulthood. While there is no exclusion on the racial makeup of participants, we prioritize serving students of color — specifically Black students — in a city where the data demands it.
