Avon High School staffer tests positive for COVID-19

AVON – A staff member at Avon High School tested positive for COVID-19 this week.
The staff member had no been at school this week, according to a statement from the district.
They also had no contact with other employees or students.
The person who tested positive may return to school when:
• The individual has been fever-free without fever-reducing medication for 72 hours
• Other symptoms have improved (cough, shortness of breath)
• At least 10 calendar days have passed since symptoms first appeared
The district did not share any other information, due to privacy laws.
