IMPD: Two teens injured in shooting on Indy’s northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — Two teenagers were injured after being shot on the northeast side of Indianapolis on Sunday.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the 1900 block of Adams Street, near 21st and Rural Streets, after reports of a person shot.

When officers arrived, they found two juvenile victims with gunshot injuries, both reported to be “awake and breathing.”

Police did not specify the age or gender of the victims, but said they were both teenagers.

No other information, including what led up to the shooting or if any suspects have been identified, was provided by police.
