IMPD: 19-year-old arrested in connection with deadly east side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS — Police have arrested a murder suspect two days after a fatal shooting on Indy’s east side over the weekend.

19-year-old Sebashton Domangue is facing a preliminary charge of murder for the shooting that killed 20-year-old Tyler Bray on Saturday.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the 600 block of South Spencer Avenue on a report of a person shot.

When officers arrived, they did not located a victim, but did find Domangue, who was transported to the hospital for severe road rash.

Officers were then notified that a person with a gunshot wound was dropped off at a local hospital. That person, identified as Bray, died at the hospital.

Police quickly learned Bray was shot in the 5200 block of Gifford Avenue on the city’s east side, near English Avenue and Emerson Avenue.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for a residence near the crime scene and found a “large quantity” of firearms and narcotics.

On Monday, Domangue was taken into custody by homicide detectives, police said.
