Arrest made in near north side shooting, leaving man critically injured
INDIANAPOLIS — A 32-year-old woman was arrested after a man was left in critical condition following a Friday afternoon shooting on the near north side of Indianapolis, police said.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 2800 block of North Washington Boulevard around noon Friday.
An IMPD report listed the initial call as a domestic dispute with a weapon.
When officers arrived, they found a victim in critical condition with gunshot injuries.
IMPD announced Friday night that Samantha Williams was arrested on a preliminary charge of recklessness with a deadly weapon.
