Police have arrested a man in connection with Indianapolis east-side shooting that left 1 person critical

Shooting at 2851 N. Shadeland Ave. leaves one person in critical condition.

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrested a 40-year-old man Sunday in connection with a shooting that left one person critically injured.

The shooting happened at 2851 N. Shadeland Ave. on Sunday morning.

IMPD detectives say officers responded to reports of a person shot. When they arrived at the scene, officers found a victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

The injured person was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Detectives arrested a 40-year-old man for his alleged role in the shooting. Police have not released the suspect’s name or specific charges at this time.

IMPD continues to investigate the shooting.
