INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis police believe a semi-truck driver was intoxicated when he struck a light post Monday evening on the city's west side.
Officers said the truck drove into a parking lot near 56th Street and Lafayette Road and hit a light pole before getting stuck in the mud.
Representatives of the truck’s company were called on scene to pick up the semi.
Police gave the driver a sobriety test on scene but did not release the results.
