INDIANAPOLIS – A woman was listed in serious condition after being shot on Indy’s northwest side early Saturday morning.
Police arrived at 21 Amendment Wine and Spirits, near Eagle Creek Parkway and 38th Street, and found a 41-year-old woman shot in the leg around 3:20 a.m.
Soon after, a shooting suspect opened fire on the woman and her boyfriend. Police said the woman’s boyfriend shot back at the suspect to protect the two. The boyfriend’s gun did have a valid permit, police said.
Officers are still looking for a suspect.
