Woman surrenders after shooting another woman on Indy’s east side, police say
INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — A woman turned herself into police on Friday, hours after she allegedly shot and critically injured another woman on Indy’s east side.
According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the 1700 block of Kildare Avenue at approximately 2:45 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found an adult female with gunshot wounds.
Police said she is in critical condition.
Hours later, the suspect — identified by police as Shantia Goodlow — turned herself in.
Goodlow was arrested on preliminary charges of attempted murder, aggravated battery with permanent disfigurement, domestic battery with a deadly weapon, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
