INDIANAPOLIS — A 27-year-old Indianapolis man who stabbed his girlfriend more than two dozen times has pleaded guilty to her murder.
Ronald Tucker was supposed to go on trial next week for the murder of 19-year-old Liv Harrison. Instead, he'll be sentenced on March 20.
Police were called to a domestic disturbance at 1716 Stevenson Street on the city's northwest side in November of 2018 where they found Harrison seriously wounded. She died a short time later.
According to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Tucker was standing near Harrison with a knife in his hand. Police told him to put the knife down. Instead, Tucker cut his own throat and stabbed himself in the stomach.
He was treated at a local hospital and taken into police custody.
