INDIANAPOLIS — One person is in critical condition following a shooting Wednesday afternoon on the west side of Indianapolis.
According to a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to IU Methodist Hospital shortly before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday after an individual was brought to the hospital by non-public safety personnel.
Police said they are investigating a possible shooting scene in the 2000 block of Medford Avenue.
The victim is in critical condition, police said.
