Shooting on Indianapolis' east side leaves one in serious condition

INDIANAPOLIS — A shooting Saturday evening on the east side of Indianapolis left one person in serious condition, according to police.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to investigate the incident around 6:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of Admiral Drive, near East 21st Street and North Arlington Avenue.

Officers found a person with at least one apparent gunshot wound when they arrived, IMPD Sgt. Grace Sibley said in an email.
