INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police said they are investigating a shooting that left a 25-year-old man dead Monday night.
IMPD North District officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 900 block of Lake Nora South Court at around 6:42 p.m.
Officers found an adult male with gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as Travon Jamal Davis, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say a person of interest has been detained.
