GREENWOOD, Ind. – A cyclist was struck in a hit-and-run just after midnight Wednesday and Greenwood police are searching for the driver.
The vehicle, described by police as a black or very dark-colored American made pickup truck, hit the cyclist near Worthsville Road and 75 West then fled south.
The pickup truck is also believed to have had blue tail lights in the place of traditional yellow signal lights, police say.
The cyclist, who has not been identified by police, suffered serious injuries including broken bones and knocked out teeth.
