INDIANAPOLIS -- If you've been waiting to try the Girl Scouts newest limited release cookie, Girl Scouts S'mores, you might be out of luck.
The organization debuted the new flavor this year to celebrate the 100th year of Girl Scout cookie sales.
It’s apparently so good – that there may not be enough to last through the cookie selling season.
Deana Potter with the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana said the response to the new cookie flavor has been so overwhelming; it’s likely that troops won’t have any left to sell at their cookie booths outside stores this year.
But don’t fear – if you’ve already placed your order, Potter said you’re safe. Your cookies should come at their regularly scheduled delivery time.
And just in case you were wondering – according to a poll by People Magazine, Hoosiers prefer Thin Mints over any other Girl Scout cookie flavor.
