INDIANAPOLIS — Harvest is coming back to Newfields this October, and this year it will feature a new spooky nighttime experience.

According to a press release from Newfields, this year's Harvest event has been built with safety and well-being of guests and staff in mind enabling people to spread out and socially distance themselves as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

The event begins Oct. 2 and runs through Oct. 25.

Harvest Nights will be a new nighttime ticketed event that runs from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Guests will stroll down a path tucked away in the woods on the Newfields campus that will be filled with hundreds of illuminated pumpkins. There will be a mystical ghost train and a grand finales at Mischief Manor, a virtual party projected onto the historic Lilly House.

Harvest Days will be included with general admission to Newfields Tuesdays through Sundays in October from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will feature views as fall colors the gardens with beautiful backdrops. There will be over 10,000 Indiana-grown pumpkins and gourds on display throughout the campus.
