INDIANAPOLIS — Police in Indianapolis are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 10-year-old boy and 86-year-old man.
According to a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the missing boy, Jaylen Averyheart, is autistic and nonverbal. Jaylen is believed to be with family friend George Allen, 86. They were both last seen on the southwest side of Indianapolis around 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Jaylen is 5-feet 2-inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing grey Marvel Avengers pajamas, blue/white Nike shoes and a navy blue coat with fur around the collar. He also wears blue-framed glasses.
Allen is 5-feet 7-inches tall, weighing 156 pounds, is bald with brown eyes. Allen is driving a 2004 silver Honda Accord with Indiana license plate 662DLA.
