INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Historical Society (IHS) announced the date and new event features for the 2019 Indy's Premier Bourbon Celebration on Monday.
The night of bourbon tasting in downtown Indianapolis is set for the evening of Friday, March 1.
Presented by Payless Liquors, the event is in it's third year and is offering guests more with their ticket purchases.
At the event, guests will be the first to taste and buy American Freedom Distillery's 'Horse Soldier Bourbon' before it hits stores.
For the first time, guests will be able to take part in a cigar bar. Participants can also meet with Peggy Noe Stevens, who has been described as a "master bourbon taster" and Bernie Lubbers who is a whiskey professor.
Indy's Premier bourbon Celebration will take place on Friday March 1, from 6:30 to 10 p.m., at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, located at 450 W. Ohio St. in downtown Indianapolis.
Tickets are $125. Ticket holders must be 21 and older.
