JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. -- If you're looking for a fun, family friendly excursion in Franklin, the 70th annual Compass Park Festival is Sunday, September 10.
This all-day event is free to attend and there will be food vendors on site, as well as local craftspeople and artists, face-painters, clowns, and various other child-friendly entertainment, including an appearance by various superheroes and princesses from local production company Happily Ever After. The event will end with a parade.
The festival officially opens at 9 a.m. Sunday and goes until 5 p.m. and takes place at the Compass Park Events Center on 690 State Street.
