CARMEL, Ind. – A person was killed in a crash in Carmel early Sunday morning.
Carmel police said the two-vehicle crash happened on 96th street between Gray Road and Randall Drive.
Police say a black 2005 Ford F-150, driven by Hernan J. Posada-Rodriguez, 24, crashed into a red 2004 Saturn car, driven by Monica Davila, 44.
Police believe Davila turned in front of the Ford truck as it was headed east.
Davila was pronounced dead at the scene.
After more investigation, Posada-Rodriguez was arrested on preliminary charges of operating while intoxicated and operating while intoxicated causing death.
