INDIANAPOLIS -- Hundreds of Rexnord workers protested the company’s move to Mexico Friday afternoon on the city’s west side. The protest comes almost one month after the company suddenly informed 350 workers its Indianapolis plant would move to Mexico in 2017.
The workers gathered outside of the Rexnord plant around 3 p.m. on Rockville Road to help spread the news about their company’s move to Mexico.
Workers said they hope the protest makes a difference but they can’t say so for sure.
You can watch some of the employees share their company stories in the video player above.
