Tony Stewart confronted a heckling fan in the stands of an Oklahoma dirt track Friday night.
The altercation happened at a track in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Cell phone videos from fans posted online shortly after show Stewart and the fan locking hands and engaging in heated conversation.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says the heckler was Corporal Kyle Hess with the sheriff's office.
They are investigating his role in the incident.
Stewart has not yet commented on the situation.
