INDIANAPOLIS -- Two men were arrested Wednesday in connection with the fatal shooting of a Chicago mother last August on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
Tamara Sword, 32, was fatally struck by gunfire August 22, 2015, while sitting in a vehicle near 38th Street and Lafayette Road.

At the time, police said the shooting stemmed from a fight that spilled out of the Suite 38 club down the street.
Another victim, 28-year-old Joshua Riggins, was killed when he was crushed by a vehicle fleeing the shooting.
Sword, a mother of five, is the daughter of Andrew Holmes, a longtime Chicago anti-violence activist.

On Wednesday, officers from IMPD's violent crimes and gang units arrested 33-year-old Michael Edwards and 28-year-old Kenneth Jones on warrants for murder and attempted murder.
Detectives also served a search warrant on the 5000 block of Clarkson Drive, where several weapons and a small amount of narcotics were seized.
