Useful tips to navigate race day parking, traffic for 108th Indy 500

INDIANAPOLIS — The Greatest Spectacle in Racing is just days away, and if you’re scrambling to find a plan to get to the track, you’re not alone.

According to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, parking and camping for race day weekend are already sold out for the 108th Indianapolis 500.

Race Day shuttles are also sold out for race day.

IMS says neighborhood parking will still be available for those who arrive early.

As for getting to parking, you can always expect some delays heading into and away from the track on race day as hundreds of thousands of fans join you.

Make sure your gas tank is plenty full and your patience is ready.
