We’re trading widespread rain for a chill in the air. Temperatures stay in the 40s Sunday. It will feel a bit colder with a NE breeze. We still have the chance for some scattered showers, but any rain will be light. We may even notice some sleet or snowflakes mix in with the rain by evening.

Many area rivers are already at Moderate to even Major flood stage. It could take a week or more for water levels to return closer to normal levels. If you come across a flooded road, find another route.

Rain chances drop off to start the week, but the chilly temperatures will linger. We’ve already started the growing season, so you may need to protect some plants from frost Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
