The 500 Festival and Lucas Oil have announced a five-year partnership they say will amplify their commitment to community impact during the 500 Festival Parade.

The organizations announced their partnership Thursday morning.

“By leveraging the cultural significance, history, and legacy of the iconic 500 Festival Parade and the Indianapolis 500, both companies aspire to serve more Hoosier communities, creating traditions that are passed from one generation to the next,” they said in a release.

Dave Neff, president and CEO of the 500 Festival, described Lucas Oil as a powerhouse of change.

“We are thrilled to extend our Parade partnership with Lucas Oil as the title partner,” he said. “They are a community pillar committed to driving positive change while serving families, veterans, and local programs, and their contributions have helped our events grow. This is a key moment in the Parade’s history, and we look forward to collectively expanding our initiatives to serve the Indianapolis community.”

Katie Lucas, president of Lucas Oil, corroborated Neff’s remarks.

“Throughout the Month of May, and truly all year long, the 500 Festival has long served the Indiana community by inspiring joy and amplifying the legacy behind one of our state’s most iconic events: the Indianapolis 500. At Lucas Oil, our deep commitment to giving back and serving others aligns perfectly with the 500 Festival’s mission, making this long-term partnership a natural fit. We look forward to connecting with race fans and supporting the traditions that make Indy in May so special.”

The Lucas Oil 500 Festival Parade is scheduled for May 29, 2027. Tickets go on sale in March.
