Colts to activate WR Alec Pierce off PUP, per reports

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — The Colts are taking wide receiver Alec Pierce off PUP (physically unable to perform) on Thursday, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Pierce had offseason ankle surgery and did not practice during training camp.
Pierce signed a four-year, $114 million deal to return to the Colts in free agency this offseason. He had 47 catches for 1,003 ayrds and six touchdowns last season.
