Former Colts head coach Chuck Pagano joins WRTV for Colts coverage this season

(WRTV) — Former Colts head coach Chuck Pagano is back, returning to WISH-TV and WRTV for Colts coverage this season.

“Nobody’s more excited than myself,” Pagano said. “I love you guys. I love being on with you. I love talking Colts football. Your crew is the best crew. I’m just extremely grateful to be back.”

Pagano joined Sports Director Anthony Calhoun to break down the upcoming season on Wednesday.

Pagano has been impressed with what he has seen from Colts quarterback Daniel Jones coming off his injury.

“It’s absolutely absurd for him to be doing the things he’s doing,” Pagano said. “From all accounts, everything I’ve watched on social media, I’ve read all the clips coming through, listening to the coaches and Coach Shane (Steichen) and all the players talk about him. It’s like he never was injured in the first place. Daniel Jones’ football character has never been in question, right? The guy’s got a big brain, multi-talented, but you knew he was going to attach this rehab. But nobody could foresee this coming, for him to look this sharp this early.”
