IU, Notre Dame both in top 10 in preseason AP Top 25

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — The preseason AP Top 25 was released on Monday, with IU and Notre Dame both ranked in the top 10.

IU is ranked sixth, while Notre Dame will start the season ranked fourth.

While the Hoosiers are sixth overall, they received the third most first-place votes.

Ohio State starts the season as No. 1, with Oregon being ranked No. 2.

IU will play four teams this season that are ranked in the preseason poll: No. 1 Ohio State (home), No. 14 USC (home), No. 16 Michigan (road), and No. 17 Washington (road).

The SEC has the most teams ranked with nine. The Big Ten has eight teams ranked in the poll.
