Former Arizona Cardinals coach Dennis Green has passed away at the age of 67.
Green coached the Cardinals for three seasons from 2004 to 2006. Before that was the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings from 1992 to 2001. He led the Vikings to the playoffs eight times, including a 15-1 regular season in 1998.

In his three years with the Cardinals the team went 16-32.
Green's time with the Cardinals is perhaps best remembered for his "They are who we thought they were" meltdown after a Monday Night Football loss to the Chicago bears, in which the Cardinals gave away a substantial lead in the second half of the game.
My heart goes out to family of my former coach Denny Green - we lost a good man way too soon!
