Part-Time Meteorologist

Circle City Broadcasting (CCB) is looking for a dynamic, engaging part- time Meteorologist to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing and delivering accurate, compelling forecasts across both broadcast and digital platforms.

The part-time Meteorologist position will anchor weekend morning weather forecasts as well as reporting weather-related stories during the week.

You’ll collaborate with a seasoned team of meteorologists, contribute to severe weather coverage, and help keep viewers informed before, during, and after major weather events. We’re looking for someone who understands that weather coverage goes beyond the forecast, someone who can tell impactful local weather stories and connect with viewers on-air, online, and across social media.

The ideal candidate

• Holds (or is pursuing) a degree in meteorology or related science.
• Shows strong on-air potential.
• Has the ability to gather and analyze weather data to clearly communicate what’s happening and what’s coming in our community.
