ANGELA MORYAN

Angela Moryan is an Emmy Award-winning sports anchor and reporter for WRTV and WISH-TV. She joined the WISH-TV sports team in 2022 after nearly five years covering sports in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Before moving to Indianapolis, Angela worked at WDEF in Chattanooga, where she covered the Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Falcons, Tennessee Volunteers, Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. Her assignments took her to some of the biggest events in sports, including Super Bowl LIII, the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship, Terrell Owens’ Pro Football Hall of Fame celebration at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and the Atlanta Braves’ World Series championship season.

Angela began her television career at WMBF News in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, after graduating summa cum laude from Georgia College & State University.

Indiana is the fifth state Angela has called home. A proud Army brat, she grew up in metro Atlanta and developed her love of sports by watching her family’s favorite New York teams. Angela graduated as valedictorian of her class at Trinity Christian School before heading to college.

After years spent covering sports from SEC sidelines, Angela has embraced the opportunity to cover the teams, athletes and traditions that make sports such an important part of life in Indiana.
