CHARLES HUIRAS

Charles Huiras is a Digital Sports Producer for WRTV and WISH-TV, covering the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, Indianapolis 500 and high school sports across Central Indiana.

A Carmel native and graduate of Carmel High School, Charles graduated from Indiana University in December 2025. While at IU, he worked for Indiana University Student Television and reported on IU women’s basketball in 2024 and 2025. He also co-hosted a weekly sports talk radio show on 99.1 WIUX and broadcast IU sporting events on Big Ten Plus and WIUX.

A lifelong sports fan, some of Charles’ favorite sports memories include watching the Pacers’ 2025 run to the NBA Finals and the Indiana Hoosiers win the 2025 college football national championship.

Outside of work, Charles enjoys watching and playing basketball, especially pickup games. He also enjoys spending time on the golf course and hanging out with family and friends.
