DANTE STANTON

Dante Stanton is an anchor and reporter at WRTV and an Indiana native with more than seven years of journalism experience.

Before joining WRTV, Dante covered communities throughout the Michiana region as an anchor and multimedia journalist at ABC57 News. During his time there, he completed hundreds of live reports, news packages and breaking news assignments while also leading special projects and feature coverage.

While at ABC57 News, Dante was part of an Emmy-nominated team as a producer covering the Blizzard of 2022. He was also a reporter on the team recognized with an Overall Excellence award at the 2026 Murrow Awards.

Since joining WRTV, some of Dante’s most memorable assignments have included interviewing Gene Simmons of KISS, providing comprehensive coverage of the August 2026 flood disaster and sharing the stories of Indiana Task Force 1, an elite group of first responders who worked for more than a week at Ground Zero following the Sept. 11 attacks.

Dante is a summa cum laude graduate of Goshen College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in broadcasting.

For Dante, joining WRTV offered the opportunity to continue building his career in his home state while telling the stories of people and communities across Central Indiana.

“I’m thrilled at the chance to stay in my home state. Hoo-hoo-hoosiers!” Dante said when he joined WRTV. “Getting the chance to tell stories in a city as culturally rich and diverse as Indianapolis is the opportunity of a lifetime.”

In his spare time, Dante enjoys live music, horror movies and biking. He loves a good coffee, cooking at home and sharing meals with friends.
