JOHN HERRICK

John Herrick is the Digital Executive Producer for Circle City Broadcasting, helping lead digital news coverage for WRTV and WISH-TV. He joined the company in August 2026 and has worked professionally in media since 2010.

A Greenwood, Indiana, native, John began his career in radio with New Media Broadcasters in Havre, Montana, before moving to Chisholm Trail Broadcasting in Enid, Oklahoma. He returned to his home state in 2017, spending nearly nine years in radio news with WIBC and Network Indiana.

Since 2022, John has also served as a broadcast host for the Indiana University Radio Network.

John’s work has earned recognition at both the state and national levels. Network Indiana was honored for Best Radio Newscast by the National Association of State Radio Networks from 2019 through 2021, and John received Best Radio Newscast honors from the Indiana Broadcasters Association in 2020 and 2023. Earlier in his career, the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters named him Non-Metro Radio Personality of the Year in 2014.

John graduated from Roncalli High School and earned his degree from DePauw University in 2010.

Outside of work, John enjoys reading, golfing and spending time with his family.
