RYAN MORSE
Ryan Morse is a meteorologist at WRTV with six years of forecasting experience. He has been part of Circle City Broadcasting since 2022 and has become a trusted source for weather coverage across Central Indiana.
Ryan grew up outside Boston, Massachusetts, where experiencing powerful Nor’easters sparked his interest in weather. Inspired by longtime Weather Channel meteorologist Jim Cantore, Ryan began tracking storms in his own backyard and eventually turned that childhood fascination into a career.
Ryan attended Penn State University, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in meteorology and atmospheric science, and energy business and finance. He is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) and a two-time Emmy nominee.
After graduating from Penn State in 2020, Ryan began his broadcast career at WFRV in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Forecasting in Green Bay gave him experience with all four seasons and expanded a forecasting background that now ranges from Northeast Nor’easters to severe storms in the Midwest.
Outside of weather, Ryan is a huge sports fan and played baseball for much of his life. When the weather cooperates, you may also find him on the golf course.
