Hazy days ahead with showers returning this weekend
INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — Rain chances increase going into the weekend. Enjoy the nice weather while we have it.
TONIGHT: Mainly clear skies remain in place. Be sure to check out the Full Buck Moon overnight, which may have an orange/red tint from elevated wildfire smoke. Low temperatures in the low 60s.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Wildfire smoke will still be in the upper levels of the atmosphere at times for Thursday and Friday. Good luck to a couple more school districts in the Indianapolis area starting the school year. High temperatures in the mid-80s.
FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies. An isolated pop-up can’t be ruled out, but the better rain chances will be overnight Friday into Saturday. High temperatures in the mid-80s.
7-DAY FORECAST: On/off scattered showers and storms are anticipated on Saturday with the system. Both days this weekend will feature high temperatures in the upper 70s and a slightly more humid air mass.
