Hot again today before relief for the end of Labor Day weekend
INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — One more really hot and humid day before some relief heads this way. An isolated shower or storm can’t be ruled out for the first part of the weekend.
TODAY:
Heat advisory in place until 8pm across most of Indiana. Heat index values top 100 to 105 this afternoon. Highs continue to climb into the low and middle 90s. An isolated shower may be possible but most locations will be dry.
TONIGHT:
If you’re heading to any high school football games or going to the Purdue game, be sure to stay hydrated! It will be hot and humid even this evening. Overnight lows will only fall into the 70s.
TOMORROW:
One more day in the upper 80s and lower 90s with high humidity. Look for some sunshine with a scattered shower or storm possible.
7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST:
We finally see some relief from the heat and humidity on Sunday and Monday. Temperatures stay into the middle 80s on Sunday and Monday. Humidity values drop and it will feel much more comfortable with lots of sunshine!
Temperatures climb back close to 90 for the middle of the week.
