Interview: Prosecutor Mears talks about two IMPD officers facing criminal charges after violent protest arrest

INDIANAPOLIS — The Marion County Prosecutor, Ryan Mears, talked about the case against two Metro police officers from the May protests, which is also the focus of a separate federal lawsuit.

All four of the officers involved in the alleged excessive force incident against Ivore Westfield and Rachel Harding are part of a federal lawsuit.

The grand jury charges filed on Wednesday are only against two of the officers.
