INDIANAPOLIS -- Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department recovered cash, guns and drugs Saturday in a search of an an apartment on Indianapolis' northeast side.
Police were contacted by the DEA and the U.S. Postal Service and told about marijuana and cash being shipped through the mail. The investigation led police to an apartment in the 5800 block of Bywood Drive.
Detectives recovered:
- $32,901 in cash
- One shotgun and two handguns
- 12 pounds of marijuana
- 36 grams of heroin
- Marijuana in the form of butter and chocolate
- Money ledgers showing multiple deposits, one for $270,000
Police also arrested the following people and preliminarily charged them with dealing narcotics and possession of narcotics:
- Dwayne Tubbs, 50
- Jeremy Martin, 33
- Kelsey Henderson, 32
