INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan police detectives are seeking help in locating a vehicle believed to be in a hit-an-run accident that left a cyclist seriously injured in July.
Detectives described the vehicle as a 2000-2005 white Buick LeSabre that could have damage to the windshield and front passenger side due to the crash. The driver was described as a black male, 6 feet tall, and 230 pounds.
Police have surveillance video that allegedly caught the suspect vehicle in the area just before the accident.
The vehicle was last seen driving north on Bellefontaine Street from 22nd Street.
IMPD said the incident happened July 15 at 22nd Street and the Monon Trail. Officers found a male victim suffering from injuries. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
