INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis man has been found guilty of attempted murder for dressing up like an elderly woman and shooting his ex-girlfriend and her brother in July 2015.
A jury convicted Michael Love on Wednesday of two counts of attempted murder for the shootings of Sultanna Reed and Zach Guyton.
According to police, Love disguised himself with a dress and wig and ambushed Reed and Guyton as they loaded their five kids into a car near Eastern Avenue and Michigan Street.
Family members told RTV6 that Love was the father of one of the children, and that he had become angry after he and Reed split several months earlier.

Guyton was shot in the face, shattering his nasal cavity and damaging an eye. Reed was shot multiple times in the stomach. Both survived, and Love was arrested in connection to the shooting.
“I remember the gun going off, and all I could think about was my kids,” Guyton said. “It’s traumatizing, is what it is. There (is no) telling what this did to the kids. I’m going to give my babies as much help as they need.”
A sentencing hearing in Love’s case has been set for Nov. 22 at 10:30 a.m. in Marion County Criminal Court 4.
