INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis woman accused of taking part in the murder of an 18-year-old in 2016 pleaded guilty Tuesday to two felony charges in the case.
Cornisha Johnson, 34, entered a guilty plea Tuesday in Marion County Superior Court to one count of aggravated battery and one count of assisting a criminal in the commission of murder, both level 5 felonies.
Johnson was charged along with three co-defendants – Tyree Henning, 23, Tyren Henning, 17, and Tywain Henning, 17 – for her alleged role in a fatal attack on 18-year-old Anthony Morris on April 17, 2016.

Police at the time said they believed an argument over a cell phone ended with Morris’ murder.
Both 17-year-old defendants were charged as adults in the case.
Johnson has been in the custody of the Marion County Jail since her arrest in May 2016.
A sentencing hearing for Johnson was scheduled for Sept. 8 at 9:00 a.m. She faces a potential maximum sentence of 16 years in prison.
